As one of the most tricky areas in the modern world, technology can take up quite a lot of space inside Changed Times. It is tricky because in the modern world much of it is in computing and information technology, robotics and electronic control.
This sort of news treads rather on the toes of the many magazines on the shelves of your local paper shop – and there is little that can be done to avoid it. We even come up slap against such excellent TV as the magnificent Gadget Show on Channel 5 in the UK.
Lacking our own Jason Bradbury and, sadly, a Suzi Perry of our own, much of the news in here will inevitably follow rather than lead the razor’s edge of new technologies. It is inevitable at least until the day that technology companies recognise the value of Changed Times and begin to send review items here as well as to other journalists.
As with our other areas, please use our Letters Pages to send details – and links – for stories you would like to see covered. Do remember though that Changed Times is not a Microsoft journal and it is important to cover developments in other areas including Linux, Android and so on.
